& another thing, ..(note the dialect shift.)
I understand your need for the entire population to sit perfectly still, with a Bible on their knees & a pius look on their faces, .. so that your prayers will not be hindered: but,.. if the world needs to come to a full stop, for God to hear you,.. let's face it mate... he doesn,t like you. When the truth of this sinks in,... do as the prophet Dennis Leary sez: " Get your whole head in front of the shotgun."

Any religion that attempts to control the behavior of persons OUTSIDE that sect, ... is not a religion, but a political movement,.. & should be taxed accordingly!

Now who is the cry-baby? ... "oh no,.. he said poop,.. now god can,t bless us!"
For an aledged hetrosexual,.. ya do whine alot!

Oh yes,.. I completely forgot that censorship makes certain people feel safe & free from sin.
The American version of inglische is vulgar at best. (as opposed to latin based)
If I choose to speak the queen's english,.. the language spoken by the beefeaters,..or dutch sailor's english. I understand, (but do not respect) one's notion of offence.

It is clear,.. that some have 'attended' 1st year english courses,. as the simple tactic of denouncing apostrophe placement is enough to negate one's opponent's point.

If i say that the obscenity of condescending to one's chosen victim/denying equality to another human, is truely meritous of what some supposidly educated peasants might call "language", they would find some other infantile excuse to avoid the issue & continue the systematic abuse of those deemed unworthy by virtue of lifestyle.

The term Psuedo-intellectual springs to mind. If it WAS truely only a question of, as one might call them from a pre-pubecent mind-set, "swears",.. these words might have been censored by astirix,.. leaving the body of work otherwise intact.

Alors,. i tire of this unengaging blather & bid you a fond mange de la merde.
You are lucky,.. America WILL fall with its virtue intact,.. and you may never have to consider, the rights of that segment of humanity that you loathe, again.

Its good to have your own thoughts on issues, What's bad is and seems to be intolerable here is vulgarity and direct verbal hits. This gay marriage issue will always be questionable -wheither prop 8 is overturned or not. Oh, and by the way--I am straight--and glad. So, 'dredone'--express but leave out the potty words!

I,m glad they stopped me!
I was wrong yoou know.
I,m glad they stopped me before I went too far!

Who did I think that I was, .. having my own thoughts?
Thoughts will be given me, by someone, way high up in government, ... when they know that I am ready to think them!
I mean, if I just go about,.. thinking my own thoughts, the ones that God gives me,.. un-filtered by our earthly government, ... why that's anarchy!
The state would be completely within its right,.. to put me in a cracker-box.

Thank-you Jesus,.. for not making me an American

We just need to move on from outdated Judeo-Christian biblical thinking. It it the institutional view of the issue that is problematic.

This is the sort of nonsense that the religious extreme are peddling http://mydailyclarity.com/2008/11/catholic-church-to-screen-for-homosexuality/

gardener LOL!
I think some of these "cry babies",as you keep calling them, are a bit too busy right now to cry.A lot of them are ALSO overseas, fighting and risking their lives, limbs and sanity,in TWO illegal occupations, that are supposed to be protecting OUR 'Freedoms' and "Democracy".
So,some of those "cry babies" are sweating(or freezing) in NATIONAL military uniform, under keflar vests, with automatic weapons in their hands, eating MRE's, under the psychological 'noose' of "Don't ask, don't tell".
They probably WISH that they could be home to defend their sexual/gender rights, but our 'esteemed'Government sent them overseas to 'PROTECT' ALL AMERICAS rights and all citizens.
A persons sexual preference has nothing to do with their Universal Human and Spritual Rights.

"We are not human beings having a spiritual experience,
we are spiritual beings having a human experience."(anon)
We all bleed red, feel pain, and love EQUALLY.

Yeah, their so-called rights probably will be allowed---if cry babies cry and have their tantrums long enough, they usually get what they want. Especially, if 'the parents' are uncaring and indifferent about the eventual out come.

I don't really agree or disagree with gay marriage. In other words, I'm indifferent to the outcome because it doesn't effect me. That being said, it would be selfish of me to tell other people how to live. I'm all about giving people choices and freedom. So for this issue, I think we should treat them equally and allow gay marriage.

I am also VERY BIG on seperation of church and state. Religious institutions can set there own standards on marriage but they shouldn't expect the state to cater to these standards. And the state should have it's definition of marriage which shouldn't have anything to do with ANY religion.

People getting married in the eyes of the state will have no effect on the religious marriages. The "religious right" thinks gay marriage will devalue their Christian marriages. This "devalue" will have to be up to the individual to feel that way or not. It's not the states concern to worry about religious traditions. Give freedom to the people.
