In September 2002, an amusing and irreverent web log appeared, written by an anonymous 29 year old Iraqi. It talked of things as diverse as his CD collection and international politics, and risked the wrath of the Hussein regime. He eventually gave his name as 'Salam Pax' but by that time was already more widely known as the Baghdad Blogger. Incisive, witty and irreverent, his inside track on the war became an international phenomenon. Thousands of people visited his blog everyday, looking for his unique take on the historic changes facing Iraq.
This wry and often funny documentary is the Baghdad Blogger’s own unique view of life in today’s Iraq. Presented as a stylized video diary, Salam is less interested in the process of war than he is in the more quirky side of life in today’s Iraq.
