A series of programs that explore the issues surrounding a growing shortage of clean drinking water around the world.  According to the U.N, this diminishing resource holds the seeds for violent conflicts in the 21st century.  The Thirsty Planet series will examine the causes - whether natural or man-made – of the global water crisis, as well as possible solutions based on models of sustainable management from around the world.
