In particular, Rajnesh discusses the difficult but rewarding task of working with non professional actors. He also shares with us the process of having the then fourteen year old main actress (Mamatha Bhukya), a non professional actor with no previous dance experience, trained to perfect both the nuances of her character as well as the complex Kuchipudi dance sequences she so effortlessly performed in the film.
